It was established in February 2022 under the Act of the Provincial Assembly and has more than 3000 students currently enrolled in 18 departments. Thal University has maintained a high standard in providing services. It has well-equipped classrooms, state-of-the-art IT labs, and libraries. Other facilities like hostels for students, sports grounds, transport facilities, Jamia Mosque, photocopying and thesis/paper binding, canteen, etc. are located at the University.
