The Department of Biological Sciences at Thal University Bhakkar is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement in the life sciences. The Department offers comprehensive academic programs in Botany and Zoology, providing students with a strong foundation in biological principles and their practical applications in addressing contemporary challenges in agriculture and environmental sustainability. Our mission is to cultivate scientifically skilled, ethically responsible, and research-oriented graduates who can contribute meaningfully to academia, industry, and society. The Department is staffed by highly qualified faculty members with expertise in diverse areas of biological sciences, including Plant Ecology, Environmental Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Plant Physiology, Plant Systematics, Biochemistry, Virology, Genomics, Proteomics, Nanobiotechnology, Ethnobotany, and Plant Tissue Culture. Their collective experience supports a vibrant academic culture that integrates teaching with innovative research and knowledge dissemination. Students benefit from a dynamic curriculum designed to provide both theoretical understanding and practical competence in modern biological sciences.
